Emma Willard uses school administration software from Blackbaud, including Raiser's Edge (Development), Education Edge (Admissions, Registrar, and Student Services), and Financial Edge (Business Office), three software packages that share data. The hardcore Blackbaud users on campus run a program on their PC to access and manipulate the data stored in the large databases that fuel the system.
There's a second interface to the data stored in Blackbaud's Education Edge designed for teachers and parents. We haven't enabled access for parent, but we could. In this case, access is gained through your browser. That interface is known as FAWeb (Faculty Access for the Web).
How to access FAWeb
On PCs: Open Internet Explorer; On Macs: Open Firefox.
If on a Mac, or off-campus on a PC, you many be asked to enter your Emma Willard credentials. Remember to prepend ews2\ to your username.
When you see the Faculty Access for the Web page, enter your Blackbaud credentials, which are typically the same as your Emma Willard credentials, but without the ews2\.
